Due to the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the developer is obliged to pay UAH 1.2 million for the development of Kherson's infrastructure

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The report says that the commercial court upheld the claim of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office in the interests of the state to recover UAH 1.2 million in equity participation from a private company for the development of Kherson's infrastructure.

Prosecutors found that in 2020, a construction company built an apartment building in the regional center. However, despite the legal requirements and repeated appeals from the city council, the developer failed to pay the share participation for infrastructure development. In view of the violations, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit with the court, which has now been satisfied, and the developer is obliged to pay the funds to the budget.

Earlier it was reported that Kherson prosecutors had secured the seizure of the state-owned enterprise's property worth more than UAH 52 million, which had been illegally transferred to private ownership. These are corporate rights and 23 real estate objects, including warehouses, workshops, workshops, berths and technological facilities. According to the investigation, in 2022, the Regional Office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol held an auction for the privatization of a number of state-owned enterprises in Kherson region. The winner was a private company with which a purchase and sale agreement was concluded. However, as the investigation has already established, the firm committed anticompetitive concerted actions with other participants. At the same time, all of them are controlled by a member of the Ukrainian parliament who is accused of treason.

It was also reported that the company received half a million for unfulfilled work in Kherson region.
