On August 16, a “Bring Back Fedorov” rally took place in downtown Mykolaiv. About 30 participants gathered on Soborna Street to call for Mykhailo Fedorov to be reinstated as Ukraine’s defense minister.

This was reported by “MykVisti.”

Protesters held signs reading “Freedom of Speech for the Military,” “Fired for Achievements,” “If You Can’t Hear the Voice of the People, See an ENT Doctor,” “I’m sorry, this might be off-topic, but where’s Fedorov?” and “Don’t meddle in military affairs.”

During the event, attendees chanted: “Fedorov—Minister of Defense of Ukraine,” “Reforms, not schemes,” “Fedorov, Drapatiy, you can’t defeat us,” “We see everything, we’re watching,” and “You need to hear us.”

One of the participants, a volunteer named Yelyzaveta with the call sign “Zorka,” said she came to support Fedorov. According to her, she works with the military and has heard positive feedback about him from them.

The woman was also holding a sign that read: “Mr. President, come on, this is just, damn it, not cool.” She said this phrase can be used “in all situations.”

The organizers of the rally stated that they are appealing to the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada to reinstate Fedorov as Minister of Defense.

Organizer Eva explained that such protests are being held to draw attention to this demand and to seek support among citizens. According to her, signatures are currently being collected in various cities for a petition and an appeal calling for Fedorov’s reinstatement.

Recently,Vitaliy Kim, the former head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, publicly responded to the wave of protests against his appointment as Minister of Veterans Affairs.
