In the occupied Crimea, unfinished facilities are being dismantled, and construction materials are being sent to the Russian military at the front.

This was reported by Krym.Realii.

According to the Russian authorities, 4181 unfinished construction projects are officially registered in the occupied Crimea. According to the Deputy Russian Minister of Housing Policy of Crimea Yevgeny Agureev, the construction materials remaining at these sites are planned to be sent to the needs of the Russian military. According to the official, they have already held a meeting with the Russian Ministry of Defense on this issue.

In addition, Agureev noted that in June of this year, a bill was approved that will come into force in 2026. It provides for an increase in the tax rate on unfinished construction for both individuals and legal entities. The Russian official believes that such a measure will "motivate developers to complete construction as soon as possible."

The Sevastopol Naval Shipyard, formerly owned by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, may be put up for sale in Russia. The enterprise, which was illegally "nationalized" by the occupation authorities of Crimea on March 19, 2015, has serious problems with the lack of orders.

The occupation authorities in Crimea are discussing the possibility of selling the Sevastopol Shipyard, which was illegally "nationalized" from its former owner, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, in 2015. According to Andriy Kostin, chairman of the board of directors of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, the company, which has existed since 1783, has faced serious problems: only 200 employees remain, and there are virtually no orders. A list of similar facilities is to be submitted to the government and the president of the Russian Federation.
