Russian authorities have received 4.5 billion rubles from the sale of property "nationalized" in annexed Crimea

According to Krym.Realii, this information was voiced by the occupying head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.

"In 2022-2024, the list of such property included about 3.5 thousand objects, of which 1,200 were added this year. The regional budget received more than 392 million rubles for its lease. Of this amount, 75% was received this year. In total, the sale of nationalized property brought more than 4.5 billion rubles to the budget," the newspaper quoted a representative of the Russian authorities on the annexed peninsula as saying.

Also, the Russian Federation reported that it plans to"nationalize" 110 properties owned by Ukrainian citizens in Crimea. The list was supplemented by the properties of singer Jamala, former Prime Minister of Ukraine, former Minister of Economy of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the family of former Member of Parliament Lidia Kotelak and "other Ukrainian neighbors of Zelensky in Livadia." Thus, the Russian authorities intended to "nationalize" the property and other assets of legal entities, including the Yalta Film Studio, Bristol Hotel in Yalta, Platinum Bank, Kyivmiskbud Holding Company, and the Dolphin Therapy, Rehabilitation and Recreation Center in Alushta.

Earlier, the Russian authorities of Crimea claimed that they had received 1.7 billion Russian rubles from the sale of the "nationalized" property of Ukrainian citizens in Crimea. And on December 29, 2023, the head of the Russian parliament of Crimea , Vladimir Konstantinov, announced the "nationalization" of 2,600 movable and immovable property of Ukrainian citizens in Crimea. In particular, this list includes the assets of businessman Ihor Kolomoisky, the building of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and the apartment of the wife of the President of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. Prior to that, Russian Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov stated that the money from the sale of "property of Ukrainian businessmen" was intended to finance the war against Ukraine.

The representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva stated that Ukraine does not intend to recognize acts that violate human or state rights. These include decisions on the "nationalization" or confiscation of property, and on the establishment of inheritance.
