On October 12, Mykolaiv once again honored the memory of fallen Ukrainian soldiers with a minute of silence. Traditionally, at 09:00, the participants gathered in the city center, at the intersection of Soborna Street and Tsentralnyi Avenue.

This was reported by Suspilne.Mykolaiv.

At the action in Mykolaiv, families shared their stories of waiting. Local resident Alina said that she learned about her husband's disappearance on November 26, 2024. She remembers that before leaving for a combat mission, he warned her about the lack of communication: "To this day, I have hope, I believe that he is still alive. I ask God every day only for his life. We were constantly in touch. But when he was going to the position on the 12th, he wrote to me that there would be no communication there."

There is also no information about the son of the participant, Lyudmyla. The boy went missing on June 26, 2024, in the Donetsk region. "At the moment, I don't know where my child is or what's wrong with him. He was taken away without preparation and training, no one gives me a concrete answer as to where he is and what is wrong with him. He did not tell me anything, he was afraid to upset me. He said he was going to night training, that he would be gone for 10 days. And he told his brother and his beloved that he was already on his way to the position," said the military's mother.

Yuriy and his wife join the campaign every week. The man has no relatives in captivity, but comes to support the families waiting for their loved ones: "I believe that every person, every Ukrainian, should attend these actions or participate in some way in the defense of the state and the search for missing persons and prisoners. Because the most important thing in our life is love."
