Mykolaiv communities have replenished their budgets by a third due to the land tax.

This was reported by the State Tax Service of Mykolaiv Oblast.

They noted that in the first nine months of this year, local budgets of the Mykolaiv region received UAH 734.2 million from land tax and land rent. This amount is 30.3%, or UAH 170.6 million, higher than the revenues for the same period last year.

In particular, enterprises and organizations of the region allocated UAH 529.3 million, and individuals - UAH 204.9 million to support local budgets. According to the tax service, these funds account for 10.7% of total budget revenues.

Representatives of the tax service emphasized that the land tax is an important source of funding for local communities, as all funds go directly to local budgets. By paying taxes on time, both businesses and citizens contribute to economic development, strengthening defense capabilities and supporting Ukraine's army.

Meanwhile, in January-September 2024, local budgets of Mykolaiv region received UAH 21.7 million in fees for licenses for the production of cognac and alcoholic beverages, fees for licenses for the right to wholesale and retail trade in alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, liquids used in electronic cigarettes, and fuel.

In the period from January to August 2024, the State Tax Service of Mykolaiv region generated UAH 14.2 billion in revenues to the budgets of various levels. The main state budget revenue is personal income tax, which accounts for 61% of total revenues.

In early October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed in the second reading the draft law No. 11416-d, which provides for an increase in taxes. Almost all MPs from Mykolaiv region expressed support for this decision.
