Hostilities in Kherson region: two civilians killed and occupants lost two attack drones

In the Kherson region, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Stanislav, Sadove, Muzykivka, Naddnipryanske, and Zymivnyk came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian occupation army on September 25, Zymivnyk, Tomina Balka, Shyroka Balka, Inzhenerne, Tokarivka, Novodmitrivka, Beryslav, Monastyrske, Shlyakhove, Mykhailivka, Zolota Balka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Tomaryne, Odradokamyanka and the city of Kherson.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official's post says that during the shelling of the region, the Russian occupiers hit critical infrastructure facilities, administrative buildings, cultural and medical institutions, agricultural enterprises and shops; residential areas of the region's settlements, including nine high-rise buildings and 20 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a cell tower, a gas pipeline, a warehouse, garages, agricultural machinery, official and private vehicles.

The head of the JMA noted that two people were killed and 14 others were injured in the liberated part of Kherson region that day as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, according to the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on September 25, 2024, at 00:19, the Russian invaders launched an air strike on Khreshchenivka. A 62-year-old woman who was in the house was injured and hospitalized. There were also casualties from enemy drone attacks in Kherson and Antonivka. In the regional center, two men aged 41 and 63 were wounded by explosive devices. Three more men were injured in the suburbs. One of them was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to both legs, the other with an explosive trauma and wounds to his legs and forearm. The third victim was treated on the spot. Also, at about 13:00, the occupiers fired at the village of Zymivnyk with artillery. An 80-year-old woman died as a result of the attack by Russian troops. Her 48-year-old daughter was seriously injured and taken to hospital. Both were in the yard at the time of the shelling. In addition, at about 15:40, the Russian military shelled Kherson again, this time with artillery. As a result, two men aged 32 and 56 were taken to the hospital.

Prokudin also added that during a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed two Shahed-131/136s over the territory of Kherson region.
