Hostile shelling in Kherson region damages houses, a water tower and a tower

More than 50 settlements were affected by massive attacks in the Kherson region. Housing and infrastructure were damaged, and two civilians were injured.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

On July 20-21, more than 50 settlements in Kherson region came under enemy artillery and drone fire. Among them are Bilozerka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Veletynske, Dudchany and the city of Kherson.

The residents shelled residential areas and social infrastructure facilities. The attacks damaged a multi-story building, 10 private houses, a cell tower, a water tower, outbuildings and cars.

Two civilians were injured by Russian shelling.

On the morning of July 20, around five, Russian troops shelled the village of Zymivnyk. The attack injured a 17-year-old girl and her 51-year-old father. Both were hospitalized with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries. The girl also sustained a shrapnel wound to her leg, and the man suffered chest burns and combustion product poisoning.

In total, more than 30 settlements of the region came under fire. A multi-storey building, 8 private houses and several cars of local residents were damaged.

In the afternoon, the occupants attacked a resident of Mykilske with a drone. As a result of the explosives dropped from the drone, the 47-year-old man suffered explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as head and face wounds.

On July 16-17, the Kherson region was again subjected to massive attacks by Russian troops. Drones and artillery struck 37 settlements in the region, including the regional center. At least 10 private houses and several cars were damaged, and three civilians were injured.

A day earlier, on July 12-13, the residents shelled 33 localities. Residential neighborhoods were damaged as a result of the attacks: 5 multi-storey buildings, 16 private houses were destroyed, a gas pipeline, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged. According to official reports, one person was killed and four others were injured in the attacks.
