It is noted that this railroad line plays a key role in supplying Russian troops in Zaporizhzhia region, where active fighting is currently underway. Due to the damage on the Novooleksiyivka-Melitopol section, the occupiers faced difficulties in transporting equipment and resources.

The occupation police have launched an investigation, but no participants in the operation have been identified yet. Representatives of ATES expressed their gratitude to the agents and coordinators who organized this action, emphasizing that strikes on the enemy's rear contribute to the victory of Ukraine.

"We are grateful to our agents and coordinators who planned and executed the operation. Logistics wins the war. The more losses we inflict on the Russian rear, the sooner our victory will come," the statement said.

In October, according to the guerrillas, a relay cabinet was also destroyed near Novooleksiyivka in Kherson region. These actions damaged the logistics routes of the Russian invaders. The agents emphasized that this is one of hundreds of successful operations that have already been implemented.

After the arson attacks on the railroad in Crimea, the Russian occupation forces intensified counter-sabotage measures. In particular, control over the railways has been significantly tightened, especially in the Yevpatoria area, where the enemy is seeking to counteract sabotage.

Even earlier, according to the guerrillas, the Russian military received an order to quickly fortify the bridge connecting the occupied peninsula with the Russian mainland.
