Ivan Donchenko, the former head of the Odesa Heat and Power Plant joint-stock company, has decided to run for the post of deputy head of the Odesa City Military Administration.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, Ivan Donchenko's declaration of candidacy for this position was published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

In the document, he stated that he owns a 736-square-meter land plot in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (he did not specify the settlement), a 51.7-square-meter apartment in Odesa, a parking space and a non-residential building in Odesa. He purchased the apartment, parking space and non-residential premises in July 2022. He also co-owns an apartment of 63.4 square meters.

He also owns two cars - a 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander and a 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser, which he purchased in 2023. He also owns 3060 shares in Odesa CHP. He declared UAH 1 million 47.6 thousand in income from his salary at Odesa CHP and UAH 199.9 thousand in interest from bank deposits.

He saved 50 thousand US dollars in cash and 2 million 878 thousand hryvnias and 600 dollars in banks.

Currently, the website of Odesa municipality, in the section with information about the deputy heads of the MVA, lists only four officials - Nadiya Zadorozhna, Serhiy Krasylenko, Olha Lozova and Inna Nimas, but the Dumska newspaper reported that Ivan Donchenko has been working as a deputy since January 6. However, the name of Hennadiy Raskin, who was dismissed in December 2025, is not listed among the deputies. Hennadiy Raskin had been Serhiy Lysak's deputy since October 2025.

On October 16, the new head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, was introduced in Odesa. The day before, President Zelensky announced the creation of the Odesa City Military Administration in an evening address, after which Lysak became the main contender for the post.
