In Mykolaiv, the Central District Court approved the agreement in the case of the former head of the Mykolaiv Medical and Social Expert Commission, Vira Belyakova.

According to MikVisti, citing the court's press service, the decision was made by Judge Pavlo Charichansky.

It is known that the former official was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison. At the same time, the court released Vira Belyakova from serving the main sentence, setting a probationary period of two years.

In addition, the court banned the former head of the MSEC from holding positions related to the performance of organizational, administrative and economic functions for three years.

The verdict was passed after the plea agreement was approved.

As reported, on April 10, the Central District Court of Mykolaiv granted the prosecutor's motion to disqualify judge Volodymyr Aleynikov, who was considering the case of the former head of the regional center for medical and social expertise Vira Belyakova. Judge Serhiy Medyuk issued the relevant ruling.

The judge noted that the materials provided by the prosecutor were incomplete, and the actions of the prosecution may indicate an attempt to influence the composition of the court. At the same time, the prosecutor insisted that the parties' interest in approving the agreement was a common practice and did not contradict the law.

Neither the accused Vera Belyakova nor her defense appeared at the hearing on the challenge. After reviewing the case file, Judge Medyuk ruled to satisfy the prosecutor's application and remove Aleynikova from further consideration.

According to the investigation, the doctor was involved in issuing a fictitious disability to a conscript, which allowed him to receive a deferral from mobilization. Searches in this case took place in the fall of 2024.

In March, Vira Belyakova, the former acting chief physician of the regional center of the Medical Expert Commission, pleaded guilty. During the hearing, the court considered the possibility of approving the agreement between the accused and the prosecutor's office.
