Natalia Mostovskikh, the former director of the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council, has joined a political party headed by Trukhanov 's former deputy, Dmytro Zheman. This is the Batkivshchyna party.

Mostovskikh announced this on social media.

"Someone will say nasty things about me, someone will ignore me, someone will say I'm crazy. Everyone has their own opinion depending on their attitude to life. I have entered a new stage in my life... . I joined the ranks of the Batkivshchyna political party. Consciously," she said in a statement.

By the way, in September, the leadership of the city organization of the all-Ukrainian association "Batkivshchyna" changed - the former vice mayor of Odesa Dmytro Zheman became the new head.

For Dmytro Zheman, this is the first step in his political life; he had no party affiliation before, although from 2015 to 2023 he worked in Odesa's local government, holding the positions of director of Odesmiselectrotrans, director of the municipal economy department, and deputy mayor for housing and communal services.

According to unofficial reports, Dmytro Zheman has received support from the capital. He is considered a potential candidate for the post of Odesa mayor, as he was previously named as the main contender for this position.

Last winter, Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov dismissed Natalia Mostovskikh, director of the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council. The dismissal was based on the official's resignation and by agreement of the parties.

Natalia Mostovskikh was appointed to this position on December 8, 2020, at the suggestion of Deputy Mayor Dmytro Zheman.

The dismissal of Mostovskikh was another in a series of high-profile dismissals in Odesa City Council.

In October 2023, Trukhanov dismissed his deputy , Dmytro Zheman. At that time, the document stated that he was dismissed by agreement of the parties on October 3. The reason for the dismissal was the official's statement.
