In Mykolaiv region, more than UAH 500 million is planned to be spent on the overhaul of a highway bridge.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.

The customer of the work was the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Thus, it is planned to overhaul a transport facility at km 182+884 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh (replacement of a small bridge with a culvert).

The bidding is scheduled for October 3. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 507 million 031 thousand 126.

The amount of the tender security is 0.5% of the expected value of the procurement, which is about UAH 2 million 535 thousand 155. The size of the minimum price reduction step coincides with the amount of the bid security.

At the written request of the contractor, an advance payment may be made, but for a period not exceeding three months within the current budget period, in the amount of up to 30% of the annual cost of the works.

The contractor must provide a certificate of availability of at least 20 units of equipment required for the performance of the works. Also, the availability of at least 50 employees with appropriate qualifications.

The repair work should be completed by August 30, 2025.

Mykolaiv region also plans to repair the bridge over the Southern Bug River. More than UAH 50 million will be allocated from the state budget for this purpose, and the submission of proposals for the relevant tender is already underway. It is about the operational maintenance of the Pivdennyi Buh Bridge across the river at km 132+391 of the national highway M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk.

As of August, almost all bridges damaged by Russian aggression in Mykolaiv region have been restored. 19 bridges that were damaged due to active hostilities in the region have been completely rebuilt. The main and largest bridge is in Voznesensk, which helped stop the advance of Russian occupation forces in 2022.

In March, the bridges in Snihurivska and Shevchenkivska communities were officially opened. The connection is now available not only for cars but also for trucks. Big business representatives also joined the reconstruction.
