Ukrainian military personnel, together with volunteer Andriy Petukhov, carried out an evacuation operation in Beryslav. They evacuated 15 local residents.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
According to him, seven local residents were evacuated from the line of fire by soldiers from one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Territorial Defense Forces. Another eight were evacuated by volunteer Andriy Petukhov, whose call sign is “Boxer.”

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the operation was dangerous, as the Russian army is continuously shelling Beryslav with artillery and attacking the city with drones. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration emphasized that as Russian attacks intensify, it becomes increasingly difficult to leave, and every delay could cost lives. He appealed to residents of communities in the Kherson region who are under constant shelling and urged them not to delay their evacuation until the very last moment.
Most of the people evacuated from the de-occupied city are elderly. They are currently being transported to their families and loved ones in various parts of Ukraine and are receiving the necessary assistance.
As Intent previously reported, the Ukrainian military had earlier delivered over half a metric ton of food to Beryslav, followed by another 460 kilograms. The food is intended for local residents who remain near the front lines. The food was delivered by drones.
