On May 8, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov convened an extraordinary session of the city council to be held on May 13.

The press service of the city council published the agenda, which includes four issues.

All of them will in one way or another relate to changes in the city budget, and these are draft decisions:

The latter issue was approved for consideration by the session on May 12 during a meeting of the Social Policy and Labor Commission of the Odesa City Council. It was about the allocation of UAH 2.5 million for the development of design and estimate documentation for the development of Dolphin Beach.

The issue of "Heat Supply of the City of Odesa" was also considered on May 12.

Intent will traditionally broadcast the meeting on May 13 online. Meanwhile, preparations for the session are underway. In particular, meetings of permanent deputy commissions are taking place to consider issues that may be submitted to the deputies for consideration at the session, and Intent monitors these meetings.

There are 12 standing committees in Odesa city council, but as of February 22, 2025, the standing committee on culture, tourism and international relations and the standing committee on regulations, deputy ethics and corruption prevention cannot make decisions, as they currently have less than three deputies.
