Explosions in Kherson region: gas pipeline and houses damaged, many injured

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled 34 localities in Kherson region, including the regional center. Nine people were injured.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities came under fire. Two private houses were destroyed, a gas pipeline and a garage were damaged.

Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Tomaryne, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Novoraysk, Chervony Mayak, Novoberislav, Havrylivka were under attack by the Russian army, Vesele, Kozatske, Kizomys, Novooleksandrivka, Mylove, Tokarivka, Olgivka, Ivanivka, Mykolaivka, Dniprovske, Lvove, Monastyrske, Tyahynyka, Tomyna Balka, Veletynske, Novotyahynyka, Blahovishchenske and Komyshany in Kherson region.

According to Prokudin, nine people were wounded in the shelling. They are being provided with medical aid.

According to the OVA, in the suburbs of Kherson, in Antonivka and Kindiyka, the Russian military carried out attacks from drones, dropping explosives on civilians. Seven people were injured in the attacks.

In Antonivka, at about 9:30 a.m., a 65-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs, and a 43-year-old local resident sustained a broken leg, shin injury and mine-blast injury.

During another shelling, a 71-year-old man was injured by shrapnel to the head and stomach. Around 16:00, a 45-year-old local resident sustained an open head injury, and a 68-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to his torso and legs. A 62-year-old woman sustained blast trauma, shrapnel wounds and a fractured tibia. A 48-year-old man in Kindiyka was hit and diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs. All the wounded were taken to a hospital where they are being treated.
