Experts found out where goods from Mykolaiv region are exported

In the Mykolaiv region, in January-May 2025, the volume of exports of goods amounted to USD 292.8 million, which is 27.6% less than in January-May 2024, and imports amounted to USD 293.3 million (55.7% more). The negative balance of foreign trade amounted to $0.5 million.

This was reported by the Main Department of Statistics in Mykolaiv region.

Goods were exported to more than sixty countries, including Spain, Turkey, Algeria, Jordan, Italy, and Egypt.

The exports were mainly of plant-based products: 74.9%, including cereals - 62.9%, seeds and fruits of oilseeds - 12%. The share of fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin amounted to 12.3%, and of prepared foods - 6.5%.

Imports were made from eighty-three countries. These include China, the United States, Turkey, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Germany, and Poland.

From these countries, Mykolaiv region imported machinery, equipment and mechanisms, electrical equipment (35.5%), land transport, aircraft, floating craft (19.5%), chemical products and related industries (9.2%).

A doctor in Mykolaiv region was suspended from his duties for false certificates. The doctor helped evaders avoid mobilization.

According to the investigation, he received up to $3,000 for one such document. During one of the episodes, the transfer of $1,000 was recorded, after which one of the defendants in the case was detained. The suspected head was also detained on the same day.
