Enemy strikes civilian infrastructure in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district with drones

The south of Odesa region came under attack from Russian drones at night. Air defense forces repelled most of the attacks, but one person was wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Air Defense Command, Oleh Kiper.

At night, Odesa region came under a massive attack by Russian attack drones. Air defense shot down most of the targets, but civilian infrastructure was damaged in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district.

According to the official, two one-story administrative buildings were destroyed and set on fire as a result of the shelling. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire on the spot. There were no casualties, one security guard was injured and received medical assistance on the spot.

Currently, special services continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and law enforcement officers are documenting the war crimes of the Russian Federation against the civilian population of Odesa region.

On the night of January 13, Russian troops attacked Odesa, causing serious damage to infrastructure and residential buildings. The shelling damaged the building housing the office of the UN humanitarian mission and the Polish consulate. In addition, two waves of attacks hit the energy facilities of DTEK Odesa Power Grids, the electricity distribution operator, affecting the stability of power supply in the city.

In the central part of Odesa, residential buildings, a kindergarten, a school and a hospital were damaged. Six local residents were injured and received medical assistance. The enemy left traces of destruction on the facades and windows of six apartment buildings and a kindergarten, and destroyed two garages and nine cars.

On January 12, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle hit a Panamanian-flagged tanker waiting to enter a port to load vegetable oil near the coast of Odesa region. In addition, a San Marino-flagged vessel leaving the port with a cargo of corn was damaged in the attack.
