Over the past day, 34 localities in Kherson region came under Russian attacks. The shelling killed one person and wounded three others.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to the regional military administration, Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Naddnipryanske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Tomyna Balka, Mykilske, Znamianka were under drone terror, artillery shelling and air strikes, Beryslav, Novoraysk, Dudchany, Mylove, Monastyrske, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Osokorivka, Veletynske, Vesele, Zolota Balka, Ivanivka, Ingulets, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Novotyanka, Poniativka, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tyahyanka and Chervony Mayak.

The shelling damaged two multi-storey buildings and nine private houses, a warehouse, a cell tower, gas pipelines and several private cars.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, a spokesman for the Kherson Regional Military Command, told Vgadr thatRussian forces have changed the frequencies used to control their drones.

He explained that every time the Russians make changes to the route settings or drone control, Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson region respond quickly, looking for new ways to protect themselves:

"This is not the first time the Russian military has changed frequencies. We, in turn, adjust our equipment to the new conditions and purchase additional equipment. There is a constant technical confrontation. As soon as the enemy sees that many of their drones fail to reach the target, they try to find new routes to penetrate the right bank of the Kherson region. And our defense forces respond with new means of counteraction," he explained.

According to Tolokonnikov, adaptation to new enemy technologies usually takes several days to a week, depending on the complexity of the situation.

"It is clear that our defenders want to neutralize these threats as soon as possible. Currently, work in this area is ongoing. I think we will be able to protect such areas as TSUM and Svobody Square in the near future. But we also realize that the enemy will not stop and will look for new ways to attack civilian infrastructure," he said.

In addition, Russian drones have become more technically sophisticated - some FPV drones are equipped with auto-guidance schemes. That is, even if the signal is interrupted by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems, the drone still continues to move towards the target due to the built-in autonomous navigation, the spokesman added.
