Enemy drones destroyed 14 buildings in Mykolaiv and injured five people

On the night of June 12, Russian forces launched another massive drone attack on the Mykolaiv region, striking the regional capital and towns in the district. Five people were injured in the attacks, and residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.

This was reported by Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Over the past day and overnight, Russian forces continued to attack the Mykolaiv region with strike drones. Mykolaiv and settlements in the Mykolaiv district came under enemy fire.

On the afternoon of June 11, the enemy struck Mykolaiv’s transportation infrastructure. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. However, that same night, the city was again targeted by Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

As a result of the nighttime strike, three members of one family were injured —a 40-year-old woman, her 39-year-old husband, and their 18-year-old daughter. All of the victims were hospitalized. As of the morning of June 12, the man was in critical condition, while the woman and the girl were in serious condition.

In addition, the attack damaged 14 private residential buildings and two passenger cars.

The Kutsurub community in the Mykolaiv district was also targeted. According to regional authorities, Russian troops used a "Molniya" type drone. In the village of Yaselka, a 79-year-old man was injured. The victim was taken to the hospital, and doctors assess his condition as serious.

In the morning, the Russians again attacked Mykolaiv with kamikaze drones. A man was injured and hospitalized. Buildings belonging to a transportation company and vehicles were damaged.

As a result of the strike, a private home and a car were damaged in the village.

Law enforcement and rescue workers continue to deal with the aftermath of the attacks and document the damage caused.

On June 3, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region at night with Shahed-type strike drones. A 65-year-old man was injured as a result of the enemy strike on Mykolaiv. 

Also in Mykolaiv, a private residential house was damaged as a result of the attack. In the Bashtanka district, a warehouse was damaged by a Russian drone strike.
