On the night of October 30, Russians massively attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As a result, emergency power outages were introduced in many regions, including Odesa Oblast.

This was reported by Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.

According to the minister, as soon as the situation allows, rescuers, repair crews and power engineers will begin to eliminate the consequences of the attack, restore power supply and assess the damage.

Ukrenergo clarified that emergency blackouts are in effect in most regions and will continue until the power system is stabilized. Citizens were urged to use electricity sparingly.

According to DTEK, blackouts were also introduced in Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro regions.

The shelling of Ukraine has been going on since nightfall. Enemy attacks were recorded in various regions, particularly in the west of the country. The Air Force reported the movement of missiles in the direction of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky regions. The attacks resulted in injuries - one woman in Kyiv region and 11 people in Zaporizhzhia.

On the night of October 29, Russian troops again attacked civilian infrastructure in Odesa region. Despite the effective work of the air defense forces, energy and transportation facilities were damaged, and one energy worker was injured.

The strike caused a fire that was quickly extinguished by rescuers. Some consumers were temporarily left without electricity.

On the night of October 11, Russian troops attacked the Odesa region again, leaving 317,000 households without electricity. By the morning, power engineers were able to connect critical infrastructure facilities and 240,000 consumers to backup power sources, but as of 11:00 a.m., about 77,000 households were still without power.

On October 10, Russian troops attacked the energy infrastructure of Chornomorsk. As a result of the shelling, more than 30,000 customers were left without electricity.
