Drones struck homes, a gas station, and a farm in the Mykolaiv region; one person was killed and others were seriously injured

Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders have continuously attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones. As a result of the attacks, one person was killed, and homes, cars, a farm, and a gas station were damaged.

This was reported bythe Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Attack on Mykolaiv

On the morning of July 2, Russian “suicide drones” attacked Mykolaiv. Four people were injured in the strike.

Two men, aged 58 and 71, were hospitalized. One of them is in serious but stable condition. The other is in moderate condition.

Two other people—a man and a woman—experienced an acute stress reaction. They received on-site medical assistance.

According to the Regional State Administration, ten private homes, a commercial building, and a car were damaged in the city.

An open area also caught fire following the attack. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Attacks on the Region

On the afternoon of July 2, a Russian “Shahed” drone attacked a gas station in the Kostiantynivska community of the Mykolaiv district.

A 45-year-old man was killed in the strike. Two other men, aged 33 and 44, were injured and hospitalized.

One of the victims remains in serious but stable condition. The other man is in moderate condition. The strike destroyed the gas station building and three passenger cars.

In the Vesnyanska community, a strike drone attacked a farm.

A 59-year-old man was injured. He went to the hospital on his own and will continue to receive outpatient treatment.

A warehouse was also damaged as a result of the attack.

The Russian army launched another strike using a “Shahed” drone on the Nechayanska community. There, a gas station building was damaged and a fire broke out. No one was injured.

The Russian army attacked the Kutsurub community with a “Molniya”-type strike drone. A private home was damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. No one was injured.

In addition, the enemy attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities eight times during the day using FPV drones.

The Kutsurub community was also struck, reportedly by a multiple-launch rocket system. No one was injured as a result of these attacks.

According to the Air Force, on the morning of July 3, the enemy is again attacking the Mykolaiv region with drones. At 08:17, the military warned of UAVs moving from the Black Sea toward the south of the Mykolaiv region.
