Drone destroys Russian speedboat: DIU shows how the vessel was sunk near Crimea

As a result of a successful mission of the Special Forces, the Russian boat "Tunets" was destroyed and three more invaders' boats were damaged.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

It is noted that on the night of August 8-9, near the village of Chornomorske in the occupied Crimea, soldiers of the DIU's Group 13 special unit liquidated an enemy speedboat of the KC 701 project, the Tunets type.

It is specified that the occupants' vessel was hit by a MAGURA V5 maritime attack drone.

In addition, three more invaders' boats were damaged. Their type is being identified.

It should be added that this is not the first "Tunets" captured off the coast of the peninsula. two Russian vessels of this type were destroyed by the scouts, and two more were damaged in May 2024.

Magura V5 strike marine drones have already destroyed the Russian ships Caesar Kunikov, Ivanivets,Sergei Kotov, Akula and Serna, and damaged Ivan Khurs.

On August 9 , GUR special forces conducted a successful raid on the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit. Dozens of Russian soldiers and their armored vehicles were killed during the operation. The Ukrainian paratroopers planted the flag of the Military Intelligence of Ukraine on the monument to Suvorov, which the Russians had brought with them.

Recently, the transportation of two air defense systems "Buk-M2" and "S-400" was spotted in the temporarily occupied Crimea for further echeloning near the Crimean bridge to the Taman Peninsula in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia.

According to the guerrillas, this indicates that Russia's defense system is facing serious problems related to the insecurity of certain areas, such as the Kursk region. Therefore, the occupiers are urgently forced to take measures to withdraw weapons from various parts of the front and redeploy military systems to close vulnerabilities in defense capabilities.
