A regular meeting of the working group on drafting the Statute of the territorial community was held in Dobroslav, Odesa Oblast.

According to an Intenta correspondent, at the meeting, the coordinator of the working group, Oksana Voloshchuk, reminded the members of the working group that at the last meeting they had approved the structure of the draft Statute and spent a month finalizing the draft decision provided by the Polaris program.

All members of the group received electronic versions of the draft Charter. She said that after the draft is approved, it will be published on all official websites and community members will have the opportunity to review the draft and provide their suggestions. The members of the working group approved the draft Statute in its current form.

The Legal Department and the Digital Development Sector of the settlement council were instructed to ensure a public discussion of the draft Statute of the community, agreed by the working group, and the heads of the structural units of the settlement council to work on the draft Statute and provide its information supplement.

Oksana Voloshchuk said that they had already developed the information material in its raw form, which was generally agreed upon, but some things needed to be added. She explained that these will be leaflets with information in an accessible form for the residents of the Dobroslav community to read, so that everyone knows what the Charter is, the forms of community participation, and so on. The group coordinator promised to hold focus group meetings with young people, elderly people, and budget organizations to talk about the Charter and forms of participation.

Also on October 3, the document was updated with such proposals as ethical interaction between community members and local government officials to avoid insults, spreading unfounded accusations, disseminating unconfirmed information, and adhering to correctness in public communication.
