Doctor's mobilization paralyzes healthcare in three villages of Odesa region

A family doctor was mobilized to Odesa region. This has temporarily complicated the provision of medical care to residents of three villages.

This was reported by Oleh Sadkovsky, an employee of the Central District Hospital of the Safianivka Village Council.

In Safianivka community, medical care is temporarily hampered due to the mobilization of a family doctor.

According to a hospital employee, this is due to the fact that family doctor Bratan M.M., who served more than 6,500 people in the villages of Safian, Komyshivka and Muravlivka, was mobilized.

Due to the absence of the family doctor, medical care for adults and children has been temporarily hampered. The hospital staff assure that they are doing everything possible to restore the medical service and provide stable services to the community. Further steps and changes in the provision of services to residents will be announced later.

The medical staff urged the community to remain calm and, if necessary, contact the nearest medical centers or hospital contact numbers.

Local residents expressed their outrage over the mobilization of the family doctor in their comments. They emphasize that they are forced to re-execute contracts with the doctor and ask where patients, including the elderly, should go when the doctor is not available. Many residents believe that the decision leaves the villages without proper medical care in a difficult time.

In response, Oleh Sadkovsky explained that he does not work for the TCC and does not mobilize medical workers. According to him, all doctors are booked in accordance with the law, and unbooking occurs at the request of the TCC, not at his request. He assured that the administration of the CDH is doing everything possible to get a new doctor in the village, who will then provide medical care to the population.

Recently, a scandal erupted in Odesa over the fictitious booking of employees of public utilities. Despite the criminal proceedings, the critical status was restored even to those housing and communal services whose managers are under investigation. The mayor's office continues to conceal the exact number of booked workers and claims that "the check is ongoing," while the number of utility workers is rapidly increasing.
