Destroyed structures and damaged pavilions: photos from the "7th Kilometer"

Overnight, a Russian missile struck the “7th Kilometer” market near Odesa. The strike damaged the market’s infrastructure and retail pavilions, and there are casualties.

An Intent correspondent visited the site of the strike. The missile struck a section of the market located behind the so-called “milka,” where vendors of Vietnamese origin primarily conduct business.

The explosion destroyed engineering and technical structures. Debris and the shock wave also damaged the market pavilions.

Kateryna Kuznetsova, press secretary for the “7th Kilometer” market, told Intent that the attack occurred around 4:00 a.m.

“Unfortunately, we have one casualty. He is currently in the hospital and has undergone surgery,” she said.

According to her, there were no people on the market grounds at the time of the strike. The market pavilions, according to preliminary estimates, sustained only minor damage.

As a reminder, Oleg Kipper, Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, stated that the number of people injured as a result of the attack on the market in the Odesa suburbs has risen to three.

Two more men, born in 1972 and 1978, sought medical attention but did not require hospitalization. Doctors are providing the victims with all necessary care.

Recently, on the morning of September 4, Russia launched a strike onOdesa. The attack killed one person, injured five others, and damaged residential buildings and cars.

As a result of the strikes in Odesa,apartmentson the 6th through 8th floors of a nine-story residential building were damaged. The shock wave and debris damaged the windows and facades of neighboring high-rise buildings, as well as 28 parked cars.
