The deputy head of the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Kropyva, announced that he was resigning.

At the same time, he noted that he remains in the team and simply "changes his position."

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the candidacy of Serhiy Kropyva as Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization in July 2023.

Prior to that, Sergiy Kropyva headed the department of the Prosecutor General's Office responsible for economic crimes and cybersecurity, which was established in 2022 by then-Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova.

Before that, he worked in the cyber police: as the head of the Kyiv department and the first deputy head.

Serhiy Kropyva became the head of the new department without a competition because Iryna Venediktova appointed him not as a prosecutor, but as a civil servant.

On May 30, former Kyiv prosecutor Oleh Kiper was appointed as the new head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

It is worth noting that the deputy head of the regional military administration had not yet submitted his declaration to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption before his dismissal.

In his annual declaration, he indicated that the owner of a rented apartment of 54.1 square meters was Yulia Burdyuzha. Another significant change in the declaration compared to the official's financial report for 2023 was the absence of income from business activities, which in 2023 amounted to UAH 4 million 821 thousand 704 for Serhii Kropyva.

The official's wife's income from entrepreneurial activity in 2024 was also 1 million 173.8 thousand hryvnias less than in 2023 and amounted to 4 million 223.1 thousand hryvnias.

The family's income last year was also the same:

As for real estate, there have been no other changes compared to 2023, except for renting an apartment. Serhii Kropyva still owns half of a 36.2 sqm apartment in Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region, while his father Vasyl Kropyva owns the other half and shares a 61.8 sqm apartment in Kyiv with his family.

The same applies to cars: the family still owns a Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class made in 2023, which Iryna Kropyva purchased for UAH 4 million 973 thousand 761 in 2023.

The family's savings were mostly in cash: 55.5 thousand US dollars and 555 thousand hryvnias for Sergiy Kropyva and 59 thousand dollars and 2 million hryvnias for his wife.

Last year, Serhii Kropyva also kept 12,683 US dollars, 2,341 euros and 553,800 hryvnias in banks. Iryna Kropyva kept UAH 89,987 in banks.
