According to the Kherson Region Prosecutor's Office, the man acted under the pseudonym LeX. He organized the information and destructive project "Streets of Kherson", whose activities consisted of holding anti-Ukrainian mass public and political actions.

In addition, the suspect participated in organizing and conducting pro-Russian actions in the Kherson region. His actions were aimed at forming a positive image of the occupation authorities among the local population.

The prosecutor's office did not name the real name of the propagandist. However, Intent found out that it is the so-called News Front war correspondent Oleksandr Turchynov.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol sent an indictment to the court against a former occupation deputy of the "Bakhchisaray City Council of the Republic of Crimea" - "advisor to the head of the Republic of Crimea". He is accused of justifying Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine through the media. For his actions, he faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, an indictment was issued against a resident of Kherson who distributed the occupation newspapers NaddnepryanskaPravdaand Komsomolska Pravda among employees of a municipal enterprise. The texts contained in the publications justified the aggression of the Russian Federation, called the military invaders "liberators" and presented the seizure of Ukrainian territories as "liberation."
