The Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures has decided to compulsorily evacuate 46 children with their parents or legal representatives from four settlements of Stanislav and Kherson communities.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, the decision was made during a meeting of the headquarters chaired by Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Ryabykin due to the difficult security situation in the region and the proximity of the territories to the active combat zone.

"We have decided to compulsorily evacuate children together with their parents or legal representatives from the settlements where the security situation remains difficult. First and foremost, we are talking about people's lives and safety," said Oleksiy Ryabikin.

According to preliminary data, some families with children are planning to move to safer areas within the Kherson community, to Mykolaiv and Odesa. In addition, there are preliminary agreements on the possible placement of families in Kryvyi Rih, as well as in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions.

Since June 1, 2025, more than 178,000 people have been evacuated from the frontline areas of Ukraine to safer regions, including more than 23,000 children and more than 6,000 people with reduced mobility.

To support the evacuees, 14 transit centers are operating in Ukraine, where people receive humanitarian, medical, psychological, legal and social assistance, as well as help with document recovery and social benefits.

Evacuation activities are carried out in cooperation with the State Emergency Service, the National Police, local communities, volunteers and international partners. Specialized units, such as the SES Phoenix and the National Police White Angel groups, equipped with armored vehicles and equipment for transporting people, are working in the frontline areas.
