The court sentenced 41-year-old Kateryna Hrybovska from Nova Kakhovka, who served as the "chief doctor" of a local hospital in Kherson region seized by the occupiers. She was found guilty of collaboration and propaganda of Russian aggression. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the Center for Investigative Journalism, Kateryna Grybovska comes from a well-known family in Nova Kakhovka. Her father, Viktor Grybovsky, ran a local psychiatric dispensary for many years. Before the full-scale invasion, she worked in Odesa as the head of the children's psychiatric department of the regional psychiatric hospital #2. However, after the outbreak of war, she moved to the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region, where she voluntarily took the position of "chief doctor" in a medical institution that was seized by the occupiers.

In 2023, she went even further and became a so-called "deputy" of the occupying Kherson Regional Duma from the United Russia party.

The court found Gribovska guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

As of January 2025, Hrybovska is on the left bank of the Kherson region, where she continues to cooperate with the invaders.

Recently, in Kherson, law enforcement officers exposed a local resident who was spying for Russia. She was passing the enemy information about the positions of the Defense Forces and the consequences of shelling of the city.

Recently, a court handed down a verdict in absentia to a Chongar border guard inspector who betrayed Ukraine at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. He did not comply with orders and voluntarily went over to the side of the aggressor state.

Earlier, the court sentenced a resident of Kherson who voluntarily agreed to serve in the Russian police during the occupation.
