The first deputy head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Natalia Chekhuta, declared millions in income, cash, new real estate, and an expensive car owned by her husband.

This is evidenced by the official's declaration in the NACP register.

According to the document, in 2024, Natalia Chekhuta received more than UAH 1.13 million in salary at the Kherson City Military Administration. Her husband, Oleh Chekhuta , declared income from several sources: almost UAH 147,000 in salary at Vinnytsia City Heating Company, over UAH 161,000 in pension, as well as social benefits and allowances for participation in veteran sports events. In total, his annual income amounted to over UAH 320 thousand.

In the section of monetary assets, the official indicated UAH 2.05 million in cash, as well as funds in bank accounts - over UAH 210 thousand. Her husband declared another 650 thousand hryvnias in cash.

The family owns several properties. In the Luhansk region, they own an apartment in the city of Kreminna with an area of almost 52 square meters, which is divided between Natalia Chekhuta, her husband and two daughters. In January 2025, the couple and their daughter purchased an 82-square-meter house in the village of Yakushyntsi in Vinnytsia region, as well as a 547-square-meter land plot. The total value of the house, as stated in the declaration, is over UAH 2.67 million, and the land plot is worth over UAH 13 thousand.

The family has two cars, both registered to the official's husband. These are a 2007 VAZ 21214 and a 2022 Skoda Kodiaq, which cost over UAH 1.56 million at the time of purchase.

The Center forPublic Investigations has already drawn attention to the official's declaration. According to the NACP, her position is on the list of those associated with a high level of corruption risks. In 2024, journalists also analyzed additional payments to officials of the Kherson MBA.

It turned out that the official ranked second in terms of their size: in May, she received almost UAH 102 thousand for health improvement, and in November, she received almost UAH 120 thousand for household needs. The total amount of additional payments was over UAH 221 thousand, while her annual salary exceeded UAH 1.5 million.

At the beginning of 2025, the official and her husband also purchased a house worth almost UAH 891 thousand, which is reflected in the declaration.

Natalia Chekhuta was appointed first deputy head of the Kherson City Military Administration in 2023. "In 2015-2019, she worked as the head of the Kreminna District State Administration. Her husband worked as a military commissar in Sievierodonetsk at the same time.

Prior to her appointment as head of the DSA, she worked as an accountant in the same department, where she headed the district financial department. She was elected as a member of the Kreminna city and district councils. In 2015, she was elected from the BPP.
