The National Agency for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) has put up for sale seven trucks from Scania, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes-Benz in a modified format.

This is stated in the Prozorro.Sale system.

Now the vehicles will be sold at a Dutch auction with a starting price of UAH 2 million 101.5 thousand. ARMA's seized assets is a direction in which property, property and other rights that have been seized, confiscated in criminal or civil proceedings, and fall under the Law on ARMA can be purchased. These may include vehicles, jewelry, construction in progress, equipment, river vessels, etc.

The previous auction was supposed to take place on April 9 with a starting price reduced to UAH 2 million 101.5 thousand, but did not take place.

The future winner of the auction will have to pay customs duties in the amount of UAH 3 million 280.7 thousand to the ARMA account. The vehicles are in a non-operational and half-disassembled condition.

Previously, the auction was scheduled for March 28, but due to a lack of bidders, it did not take place, so ARMA has scheduled a second one.

This scheme of selling seized assets is not new, for example, in early April, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) managed to find a buyer for over 136 tons of fertilizers stored in the port of Izmail in Odesa region on the third attempt.

These fertilizers were put up for sale twice in the format of a three-round English auction - on March 10, they were tried to be sold with a starting price of UAH 2 million 906 thousand, and on March 21, with a halved starting price of UAH 1 million 453.1 thousand. But both times, there were no bidders. Then the fertilizers were put up for a hybrid Dutch auction and sold to the only bidder for UAH 871,877.
