Bishop Borys Gudziak visits Odesa Art Museum

Metropolitan Borys Gudziak of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church visited the Art Museum in Odesa.

The head of the museum , Kateryna Kulay , reported this on Facebook.

He had a conversation with cadets of military educational institutions, where they discussed important topics: dignity, the ability to concentrate on the main thing, and patience. In particular, he was presented with a project dedicated to the anniversary of the Grekov Art School, which, according to the director, had a special response in the heart of the bishop.

Bishop Borys Gudziak is the Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, head of the Archeparchy of Philadelphia in the United States. He is a public figure, scholar of church history and president of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU).

At the meeting with representatives of the business community, they discussed the phenomenon of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), the importance of moving forward and the absence of an inferiority complex. The Metropolitan drew parallels between Odesa and Lviv and discussed the qualities of a leader during the war, as well as Ukraine's place in the global context.

One of the main tips from Bishop Gudziak was an appeal: "We need to be people of hope and push and push.

Meanwhile, Metropolitan Klyment of Crimea and Simferopol of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine accused the Ukrainian authorities of discriminatory attitudes toward Crimean IDPs, including believers who were forced to leave the peninsula due to Russian occupation.

Klyment criticized the inactivity of the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, calling it ineffective, and called for the creation of a full-fledged military administration of Crimea. According to him, similar bodies in Donetsk and Luhansk regions have already shown effectiveness, in particular in providing spiritual support to IDPs.
