An employee of one of the ASCs in Kherson region, who was selling certificates of unfitness for service in collusion with her accomplices, was sentenced.

She was sentenced by the Kherson City Court.

According to the case file, the defendant is a leading specialist in military registration and residence registration at the Administrative Services Center of the executive committee of the Muzykivka village council. She is accused of involvement in an organized criminal group that issued certificates of unfitness for military service for men during martial law for a monetary reward.

According to the investigation, from May to September 2024, the woman, together with three accomplices, implemented a criminal scheme. In particular, on August 7, she received USD 7 thousand in her office for helping a citizen she knew avoid military registration. As part of the scheme, false information was entered into documents, in particular, a temporary certificate of a person liable for military service. Exclusion from the register of conscripts was also recorded.

Subsequently, funds and documents were transferred between members of the group, who made false entries using their official authority. Eventually, the documents with fake data were returned to the "client".

The defendant's actions were classified under several articles - abuse of office as part of an organized group, forgery of documents and obtaining illegal benefits.

At the hearing, the official pleaded guilty, so the court sentenced her to 5 years in prison with a probationary period of 2 years, without actual imprisonment.

Earlier, Intent wrote that the Kherson court announced the sentence of a postal worker. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison, but so far in absentia.
