ARMA seeks manager for Odesa mineral water sanatorium

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency has announced a tender to select a manager for the Gorky Sanatorium in Odesa.

The medical and rehabilitation center of the Gorky Clinical Sanatorium is located in the resort area. The sanatorium has many years of experience in providing sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation. In addition, there are three mineral water wells on the territory of the sanatorium.

The property complex includes the buildings of the sanatorium with a total area of 13.8 thousand square meters, as well as a medical and rehabilitation center with an area of 1.3 thousand square meters.

In 2023, the lands of the Gorky sanatorium worth 48 million, which had been illegally registered earlier, were returned to the municipal ownership of Odesa. We are talking about 6 land plots that were illegally registered.

The prosecutor's office found that the land plots, which had previously been transferred to private ownership free of charge, are lands of recreational use and are part of the Gorky Sanatorium park, which is a monument of landscape art of local importance and is of particular value, and therefore could not be transferred to private ownership.

The prosecutor's office went to court. The court satisfied the claim and canceled the right of private ownership.

Earlier, the Odesa City Council declared the park of the Gorky Sanatorium a park-monument of landscape art of local importance. And in March 2009, the Odesa Regional Council adopted a decision "On the creation of a park-monument of landscape gardening art of local importance, Gorky Sanatorium Park." The park-monument is the territory of the sanatorium with an area of 8.28 hectares.

In November 2016, the management of the state-owned enterprise Gorky Clinical Sanatorium appealed to the Odesa City Council to cancel its decision to change the designated purpose, approve land management projects for land allocation and transfer to private ownership of Ukrainian citizens a land plot with a total area of 3.3155 hectares for the construction and maintenance of a residential building and outbuildings.
