Antimonopoly authorities fine Izmail winery and close the case

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has fined the Private Joint Stock Company "Izmail Winery" for failure to provide information at the request of the AMCU authorized representative.

This was reported by the press service of the AMCU.

The company was fined UAH 35 thousand. At the same time, the AMCU closed the proceedings in the case of violation of the legislation on protection against unfair competition by Izmail Winery PJSC, as provided for in Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Protection against Unfair Competition", in the form of unlawful use of the packaging design of Fragolina Grape cider.

In September, the administrative board of the Southern Interregional Territorial Department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine found that there was collusion between Antaro Build Construction Company LLC and Valentor LTD during their preparation and participation in the auctions in Odesa. For such actions, the defendants were fined a total of UAH 272 thousand. A search in the Prozorro electronic procurement system revealed two tenders, one for the reconstruction of the oxygen supply system with the installation of oxygen stations at City Hospital No. 8, in which the winner was Antaro Build Construction Company LLC and in which the company earned UAH 14 million 120.9 thousand.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine also fined three limited liability companies registered in Odesa for anticompetitive concerted actions related to the distortion of bidding results.

The Committee noted that these are Aditus Implant Medical LLC, registered in Kyiv in 2019. Santer's Trade LLC, registered in Odesa in 2022, and Medtorg Service LLC, also registered in Odesa in 2019. The antimonopoly authorities fined all three participants a total of UAH 947,465 for distortion of the bidding results.
