A new point of distribution of free purified water has been opened in Mykolaiv at 79-g Heroiv Ukrayiny Avenue.

This was reported by Mykolaivoblteploenergo.

The company also reminded that similar points operate in all districts of the city. In total, there are more than 80 of them. A detailed list of addresses is available on the official website of Mykolaivoblteploenergo.

Earlier, Intent wrote that under the Memorandum of Cooperation, Farmacia financed the drilling of a well and preparatory work, and RATEG and its partners provided modern water treatment equipment.

In August, another kindergarten in Mykolaiv was equipped with a reverse osmosis plant, which the institution received from German partners. The plant's capacity is 1000 liters per day. In addition, the system is equipped with water disinfection equipment, which will provide children with access to the highest quality drinking water.

In June, a drinking water point was also opened in Raketne Urochyshche thanks to the Regional Association of Territorial Communities. This is the third RATC project implemented in the region. The modern purification system is capable of making water of any degree of contamination not only clean but also useful for consumption. The equipment with two Japanese membranes is capable of purifying up to 500 liters of water per hour, which is drawn from a 32-meter deep well.

It may take up to three years to restore water supply to Mykolaiv. There is currently no confirmed funding for the restoration of drinking water supply. According to Mykolaivvodokanal director Borys Dudenko, , funds have not yet been allocated for the construction of a new water supply system for the city. Funding for these works has not yet been confirmed by either donors or the government.
