An online map for sports and rehabilitation for veterans has been launched in the Mykolaiv region

An interactive map has been launched in the Mykolaiv region to help male and female veterans find sports, rehabilitation, and social services near them.

The online map was created on the initiative of the regional office for veteran policy in collaboration with civil society organizations and partners. Its goal is to make opportunities for physical rehabilitation, psychological support, and active recreation more accessible to those who defended Ukraine.

The map lists locations where veterans can participate in adaptive sports, undergo rehabilitation, receive psychological assistance, attend sporting events, and access other social services. The service is constantly updated, so users can view the most current information.

According to officials, they aim to create conditions so that every male and female defender, upon returning to civilian life, can find a nearby space for recovery, social interaction, and personal development.

“This map is another step toward making support for veterans as accessible as possible,” noted the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The map can be accessed online. It is available on the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration’s website and via a link posted on the region’s official resources. The project’s initiators emphasize that they will continue to develop the project by adding new locations and services.

In June, a committee of the Mykolaiv Regional Council supported the creation of the municipal institution “Vector of Dignity,” which will provide support to veterans, military personnel, and their family members.

The new institution will provide counseling on government programs and social benefits, psychological assistance, and legal support, as well as facilitate the rehabilitation of veterans and their families.
