Dmytro Tantsyura, a longtime member of the Odesa City Council, entrepreneur, and member of the “Trust the Deeds” faction, has passed away in Odesa.

Dmytro Tantsyura was born on December 8, 1978, in Odesa. In 2001, he graduated from the Odesa State Law Academy with a degree in “Jurisprudence,” and in 2002, he received a master’s degree in public administration.
In 2008, Tantsyura founded the law firm “Southern Legal Company.” Since 2010, he has served as CEO of D.I.M. — Group LLC.
Tantsyura was elected to the Odesa City Council several times. He served as a council member during the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th terms. In 2015, he was elected to the 7th term of the city council as a representative of the “Trust the Deeds” party.
Dmytro Tantsyura was known in Odesa not only as a council member and entrepreneur. In May 2023, he posted a 13.42 million hryvnia bail for Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, who was in custody at the time.
As reported by Intent, according to Tantsyura’s 2019 financial disclosure statement, he had 144.9 million hryvnias in liquid assets, of which approximately 140 million hryvnias were held in cash. At that time, Tantsyura was among the Odessa City Council members with the largest land holdings. He declared land plots in Prylymanske and Lymanka in the Odessa district, as well as in Kryzhanivka and Fontanka.
Tantsyura was a member of the 6th convocation of the Odesa City Council representing the “Strong Ukraine” party; prior to that, he represented the “Reforms and Order” party and Eduard Gurvits’ “Our Odesa” bloc in the city council.
The cause of Dmytro Tantsyura’s death has not yet been reported.
