An infant was killed and a child was wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions, respectively, as a result of shelling by the Russian Federation

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Overnight, the occupying forces shelled the town of Marganets in the Nikopol District. A three-month-old boy was killed, and a 5-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were wounded. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In total, 11 people were injured in the Russian strike on Marganets. Seven of them are in the hospital in serious condition. The attack caused a fire in a four-story residential building. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The occupiers shelled the Kherson region using aircraft, drones, and artillery. They targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods in the region’s settlements, damaging six high-rise buildings and four private homes. Enemy shelling damaged a supermarket, administrative buildings, a store, a pharmacy, a utility building, a minibus, agricultural equipment, private garages, and cars. Twenty-eight people were injured, including one child.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, also reported that three people were evacuated yesterday from liberated communities in the region. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

On August 13, a Russian “Shahed” drone struck the Odesa–Dnipro passenger train with precision. The engineer and his assistant were killed when the strike hit the locomotive. There was also another strike—on a diesel locomotive that was performing shunting operations. The State Emergency Service, together with other agencies, evacuated 525 people, including 130 children.
