An important solution for heating companies in Odesa with bad sound was agreed upon

At a meeting of the Odesa City Council's Standing Committee on Territory Development Planning, Urban Design, Architecture and Cultural Heritage, the decision to delegate the authority of the customer to carry out overhaul of heating networks to the Odesa City Heating Company was supported.

This became known from the broadcast of the commission meeting on May 8.

According to the company's representative, these are networks that are on the balance sheet of the utility, and in order to carry out the necessary repair and design work in accordance with updated legislative norms, the company must officially receive the functions of the customer. This will allow the company to respond quickly to technical needs and ensure stable heat supply in the city.

The decision will now be put to a vote at the next session of the Odesa City Council, which is tentatively scheduled for May 13. The Commission recommended supporting this draft decision to ensure the proper functioning of the heating system within the framework of the current legislation and taking into account the balance sheet responsibility of the utility company.

It is worth adding that the work of the standing deputy commissions of the Odesa City Council again recorded problems with sound during broadcasts.

On May 7, during a meeting of the commission on housing and communal services, the sound was so poor that it was almost impossible to understand the content of the speeches. A similar situation repeated itself the next day, on May 8, at a meeting of the Commission on Territory Development Planning, Urban Design, Architecture and Cultural Heritage Protection.

This is the second deputy commission in a row that has been broadcast with technical problems. This situation effectively deprives city residents of the opportunity to follow the work of their elected representatives and control decision-making.
