<span><span><span><span><span><span>The detained servicemember is suspected of intentionally assaulting the minor victim and forcibly detaining him during mobilization activities. </span></span></span></span></span></span>A video of the altercation, in which a man in military uniform grabs a teenager, yanks him by the ears, and presses him against a car, was shared on social media.
The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Mobilization and Civil-Military Cooperation reported that an internal investigation has been launched in response to the video. The investigation aims to establish all the circumstances of the incident, the causes of the conflict, and the identities of the individuals captured in the footage.
Oleg Khvoshchevsky, head of the “Union of Transnistrians of Ukraine,” stated thatveteransand war invalids from Odesa tracked down the serviceman who had beaten the child and forced him to apologize to the teenager and his parents.
Earlier,<span><span><span><span><span><span>the Odesa Regional Military Commissariat responded to allegations that 10 servicemembers were involved in torture. </span></span></span></span></span></span>The TCC emphasized that any unlawful actions by individual service members discredit those members of the Defense Forces who conscientiously fulfill their duties to defend the state.
