On the morning of February 10, seismological instruments registered earthquakes in the Black Sea near Kerch. Experts note that the earthquake was of small magnitude and did not pose a threat to the population or infrastructure of the peninsula.

This was reported by the Main Center for Special Control.

The magnitude was 3.6 on the Richter scale, and the depth of the center was about 14 kilometers. The Main Center for Special Control noted that tremors of this magnitude are usually not felt by people. The fluctuations were so weak that only special sensors noticed the activity. Currently, the situation remains stable, with no destruction or dangerous consequences for infrastructure or the coast.

This is the second earthquake in the Black Sea in a day. Earlier, on the night of February 10, a 4.8-magnitude tremor was recorded near Novorossiysk (Russia). According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter of that earthquake was about 35 kilometers northwest of the city, and the depth of the center was about 10 kilometers.

Earlier, eight earthquakes occurred in Romania near the border of Odesa region, mostly in the Vrancea zone, on October 22-25.

The first earthquake occurred near the following cities: 43 kilometers west of Focsani, 57 kilometers north of Buzau, 70 kilometers east of Sfantu Gheorghe, 79 kilometers east of Brasov, 91 kilometers northeast of Ploiesti.

The second occurred near the following cities: 37 kilometers west of Focsani, 59 kilometers north of Buzau, 74 kilometers east of Sfantu Gheorghe, 85 kilometers east of Brasov, 96 kilometers northeast of Ploiesti, 97 kilometers southwest of Barlad.
