The Main Department of the National Police in Kherson Oblast is looking for a supplier of cameras for its needs. The cost of one camera is 40.5 thousand hryvnias, and they plan to buy 9 cameras in total.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro electronic system.

The announcement states that on December 2, an auction will begin in the format of open bidding with special features to select a seller of 9 Nikon Coolpix P950 cameras or the equivalent. The total purchase price is UAH 364 thousand 500. Thus, the price for one camera is expected to be approximately UAH 40,500.

According to the tender documentation, the goods must be new, without any previous use or restoration. The participant must provide a letter of guarantee.

In addition, the quality of the goods must comply with state standards, technical regulations and legal requirements. When delivering the goods, documents confirming their compliance with these requirements must be provided. The winner of the auction must also provide a list of service centers for warranty service of laptops in Ukraine.

The Main Department of the National Police in Kherson Oblast expects to receive the cameras by December 24, 2024.

It is worth adding that such cameras can be purchased online for almost 33 thousand hryvnias.

Open bidding with special features means that almost all terms are shorter than in open bidding under the Law on Public Procurement. This means that this procurement is much faster than open tenders.

The period for submitting proposals is seven calendar days, and the period for challenging qualifications is five calendar days. Often, there is no auction during such tenders, so the participant has no competitors.

Meanwhile, the Department of Security Police in Odesa Oblast has announced a tender to select a supplier of an access control and management system, as well as time and attendance.
