In Mykolaiv, local authorities have planned to carry out coastal protection works in the Velyka Korenyha neighborhood. Almost UAH 2 million will be allocated from the budget for this purpose, and the submission of proposals for the relevant tender is already underway.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.
The customer is the administration of Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv City Council.
Participants can submit their proposals until August 29, and the winner will be selected the next day in the format of an open tender with special features. The purchase price is UAH 1 million 670 thousand.

For these funds, the contractor, according to the tender documentation, must dismantle the reinforced concrete massifs that have sagged due to soil leaching. It is also supposed to remove the defective concrete layer from the surface of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, remove construction waste, excavate the soil with an excavator, lay a layer of geotextile to prevent soil penetration, etc. In addition, it is necessary to install massifs to strengthen the bank, lay slabs and grout the joints of the retaining wall slabs.
All works are to be completed by December 2, 2024.
Recently, the Mykolaiv seaport administration announced a tender for the reconstruction of the sewage system. It is planned to spend more than eighteen million hryvnias for this purpose.
The Mykolaiv seaport also plans to repair railroad tracks and turnouts. The expected cost of the repairs is almost UAH 18 million. The auction is scheduled to start on September 3, 2024.
