Preparations are nearing completion in Odesa for the opening of the Superhumans military trauma center, where prosthetics, rehabilitation, and psychological support will be provided free of charge to war victims.

Project founder Andriy Stavnitser called on local businesses to help fund treatment for military personnel and civilians.

According to him, the renovation of the center, which covers nearly 5,000 square meters, is almost complete. The construction was made possible thanks to international support, with the French government providing the largest portion of the funding.

He noted that the center is being built with funds raised through global fundraising efforts, with the French government providing the majority of the funding, for which he expressed his gratitude. He also called on businesses to support the project and help fund it.

The center will provide free prosthetics, physical rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery, and psychological support to military personnel, civilians, and children who have suffered injuries or trauma as a result of Russian aggression.

“This is Odesa; this is our city. We must help,” Stavnitser noted.

The new center will operate on the grounds of Odesa National Medical University. A prosthetics laboratory, physical rehabilitation rooms, psychologists’ offices, and other specialized facilities will be set up in a space of about 4,000 square meters. Medical students will also be able to complete their internships here, which will help train more specialists in rehabilitation and prosthetics.

Superhumans is a nationwide center for rehabilitation, prosthetics, and reconstructive surgery, founded in 2022 by Andriy Stavnitser, Philip Grushko, and Olga Rudneva. The first center opened in Lviv in April 2023, followed by Superhumans Dnipro. Odesa will be the third city to host the clinic.

The project is supported by the French government, American philanthropist Howard Buffett, British entrepreneur Richard Branson, musician Sting, Trudie Styler, and other international partners. In May 2026, the Superhumans network received the highest—diamond—level of accreditation from Accreditation Canada.

The first Superhumans center opened in April 2023 in Lviv, operating out of one of the city’s medical facilities.
