The Odesa Municipal Utility Company is preparing to sign a contract for cutting down hazardous trees in the city's cemeteries with a newly created company, while rejecting a cheaper offer.

The Center for Public Investigations learned about this from the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

Recently, the Specialized Utility Company conducted a procurement in the format of an open tender with peculiarities. The tender states that 57 trees need to be removed. Of these, 44 are located at the Second Christian Cemetery on Lustdorf Road. Nine more are at the Trinity Cemetery in Lenselishche and four at the cemetery on Biblioteka Street.

The budget for the work was set at UAH 936 thousand. Two bidders came to the auction: FOP Dzhulay Viola Yukhymivna, who offered to carry out the work for UAH 910 thousand, and Redwood-Bud LLC - for UAH 919 thousand. However, the customer rejected the more favorable offer and chose the company that was founded a month ago as the winner.

According to youcontrol, Redwood-Bud LLC was registered on October 22, 2024, by Vitaliy Panchyshyn. The authorized capital is only one thousand hryvnias. The company declares "provision of landscape services" as its main activity.

In addition, the company is engaged in sawmill production, sewage and wastewater treatment, and the collection and treatment of non-hazardous waste. Other activities include the construction of residential and nonresidential buildings, roads, bridges, tunnels, pipelines and other structures, as well as demolition and preparatory work. The company also performs electrical installation, water supply, heating, air conditioning, plastering, roofing, carpentry, finishing and finishing works. The company is engaged in the wholesale trade of timber, building materials and household goods, provides freight transport and auxiliary transport services, and also cleans and cleans the territories.

Despite the fact that the company is only one month old, it has already started receiving its first public orders from Miskzelentrest.

Meanwhile, a company owned by Prince Khachatryan, a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council from the OPFL-banned party, signed an agreement to repair the road to a cemetery in one of the villages of Berezovsky district.
