The Navy Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a professional holiday for servicemen and women of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2015, it has been celebrated on the first Sunday of July. This year it is July 6.

Last year, on September 19, two-year-old Anna Yakymchuk from Chornomorsk, Odesa region, set a Ukrainian swimming record by covering the 50-meter freestyle course in 3 minutes and 6 seconds.

In August of the same year, in Podilsk, Odesa Oblast, students of Lyceum No. 4 set a world record for performing a circus element in the genre of rubber. Their achievement will be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records of Ukraine.

In April 2023, cadets of the Naval Lyceum and the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University "Odesa Maritime Academy" set a national record for ship's rope pulling. The rope weighed half a ton and was 200 meters long. A total of 208 cadets participated in the tug-of-war.

In March, the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova, presented a certificate to the volunteer center "Gostinaya Khata" for registering the first record in Odesa during the war.

The center distributed 1 million 80 kilograms of aid during the war. Experts of the National Register estimated that this is about 30-50 railroad cars of aid distributed by volunteers to the victims.
