The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has launched preliminary market consultations on the selection of a manager for a strategic asset - a maritime logistics complex located in Odesa region.

This was reported by the ARMA press service.

The asset is associated with the former owners of Privatbank, or rather with oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky. It was arrested in the framework of criminal proceedings and transferred to the management of the ARMA by the decision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv.

The company specializes in logistics services in the agricultural sector, in particular in the transshipment, storage and transportation of grain crops. The assets of Agroterminal Logistic LLC constitute an integral property complex, which includes a marine transportation and storage terminal for grain cargo with a berth, special equipment, machinery and grain storage facilities.

The marine transportation and storage complex was transferred to the ARMA in March. Law enforcement officers found out that in 2016, officials of a number of companies, including former shareholders of a bank, illegally disposed of the complex. It was pledged to the National Bank of Ukraine under a mortgage agreement, but was illegally alienated. The actions of the suspects fall under Article 388 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal actions with pledged property).

An investigation is also underway into tax evasion in 2022-2024 by officials of these companies. The then head of ARMA, Olena Duma, confirmed that the agency had taken over the real estate of Agroterminal Logistic.
