On the morning of July 22, a thunderstorm struck Odesa, causing flooding on Balkivska Street and leading to temporary traffic restrictions or closures in several parts of the city.

This was reported by the Odesa City Council.

Public Transportation

Tram Route No. 1 runs through Kherson Square. Tram Route No. 20 is temporarily out of service—a shuttle bus is transporting passengers instead.

The city council asks residents to plan their routes in advance, taking current restrictions into account; not to leave vehicles on storm drains or under trees; and, if possible, to limit travel within the city.

The downpour has now subsided, and public utilities continue to work on the roads and in flooded areas.
